The latest transfer news, updates and rumours from the Premier League and further afield, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur
Hello and welcome to Mirror Football's summer transfer blog for Tuesday, July 7th.
Reports are circulating that Arsenal hold an interest in Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer as a potential replacement for Ben White. The full-back has fallen out of favour behind Jurrien Timber at the Emirates Stadium, as the Gunners look to defend their Premier League title in 2026/27.
While a knee injury could complicate matters in terms of White securing an exit, Arsenal's board are thought to be scouting the market for new replacements. Former Manchester United talent Wan-Bissaka has been tipped as one of the names who could play second-fiddle to Timber for the new season, given his top-flight experience.
Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspur look to continue to spend big this summer, as they pursue Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi. The Lilywhites have already splashed out £237million on Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali as the look to bolster their first-team, but it now appears the club are looking for attacking reinforcement.
Reports suggest that Roberto De Zerbi's team could offer as much as £85m to the Cherries for Kroupi Junior, who is a wanted man this summer following a standout Premier League season at the Vitality.
Marcus Rashford, meanwhile, could fail to attract interest should he fail to start England's quarter-final World Cup clash against Norway. The Manchester United forward is set to return to Old Trafford despite a fruitful loan spell with Barcelona in 2025/26.
