July 9 – Since early June Kansas City has been the home training base for Argentina, England, Netherlands and Algeria. It is also home to a LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and on Wednesday unveiled a 15,000-brick replica of CPKC Stadium, the home stadium Kansas City Current NWSL team.

The 11,500 capacity CPKC Stadium is the first stadium in the world purpose-built for a women’s professional sports team. Opened March 16, 2024, it became the first club in NWSL history to sell out every regular season home match.
