August 20 – Venue management group Legends Global has announced a landmark 10-year partnership with newly-promoted Premier League team Coventry City and the Coventry Building Society Arena. 

At the heart of the deal sits a joint investment programme of over £15 million across three years, with around £2.5 million already committed for immediate improvements spanning hospitality, food and beverage, technology and premium spaces. 

The partnership covers the full spectrum of commercial, hospitality and operational activity, built around raising the bar for everyone who walks through the doors. It also targets growth in conferences and events, using Legends Global’s network to attract larger business events to the arena. 

Legends is bringing Simon Rogan’s 10 Michelin starred Umbel Restaurant Group to Coventry through The Engine Room residency, with Rogan-influenced seasonal menus and appearances expected across the season. The Amp Bar & Grill and a reimagined Board Room complete the transformation.
