October 8 – Arsenal have extended the contract of manager Mikel Arteta, who in May delivered a first league title in 22 years, until 2030.
The 44-year-old, who has been in charge of the club since 2019, has turned the Gunners into a perennial contender, winning the FA Cup in 2019/20, the English Premier League in 2025/26 and finishing runner-up in the UEFA Champions League last season as well
“It’s a privilege to commit my future to the club and to continue to work with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal,” said Arteta in a statement.
